Important: We provide equipment installation, repair, and maintenance services only. We do not provide monitoring services or ongoing security monitoring.
3. Service Area and Availability
Our services are available in Moore County, NC and surrounding areas. Service availability may vary based on location, scheduling, and technical feasibility. We reserve the right to decline service requests that fall outside our service area or technical capabilities.
4. Pricing and Payment
- All prices are subject to change without notice
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made
- Additional charges may apply for services beyond the original scope of work
- Additional travel charges may apply for locations outside our standard service area
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing safe and reasonable access to work areas
- Ensuring proper electrical power is available at installation sites
- Backing up any existing data before service begins
- Informing us of any special requirements or conditions at the service location
- Following all manufacturer warranties and maintenance requirements
6. Warranties and Limitations
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 90 days from the date of service completion. This warranty covers:
- Installation defects caused by our workmanship
- Configuration errors in systems we installed
- Defects in materials we provided (subject to manufacturer warranty)
Limitations:
- We are not responsible for damage caused by customer misuse or neglect
- We are not liable for compatibility issues with existing customer equipment
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided
- We are not responsible for data loss or security breaches
7. Scheduling and Cancellations
- Appointments are scheduled during our business hours: Mon-Fri 5PM-8PM, Sat/Sun 9AM-5PM
- 24-hour notice is required for cancellations to avoid service fees of $25 USD.
- We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control, free of charge.
9. Limitation of Liability
Horton Technical LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, regardless of whether we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
